a year agoTLDR; 7.99 for 2 vegi 1 meat 8.99 for 2 veg 2 meat Great deals for a awesome value meal! My go to for a quick healthy and budget lunch/dinner :) My personal favs; anything potato. Eggplant, pork ribs and stir fry tomato and egged (a lil diff from what I’m used to but good flavor!) They can get busy sometimes but it’s really good. It’s an Asian grocery store and meal serve, don’t expect American style service ok?

a year agoNow it's not halal. Outdated photographs. I have been to this cafe before. Today, they removed the halal signs. It's a pity that this happened. Does anyone know why this happened? Perhaps the previous team of chefs has moved to another location. If anyone knows, please let me know.

a year agoWent to Mini Wok Halal inside Welfresh Market on Hwy 6. in Sugarland. primarily a to-go spot with a few tables and chairs. I have heard good things about this place so came here to try. Had to try the Pan Fried Beef Dumplings, and also went with the Rice combo, we went with the Fried Rice with 2 types chicken and seaweed. first off the Dumplings were some of the best I have ever had, fresh, and very flavorful. next for the rice combo, also great, reasonably priced and generous portion, and overall very flavorful, enjoyed the seaweed was skeptical about it when I ordered it, but was great. Muslim owners of the stall, everything at the stall in #halal

2 years agoRecommended!! Everything is HALAL! And run by Muslim Family. I have tried roasted duck, braised beef tripe&tendon, cilantro lamb tripe, beef noodle soup, savory crepes, pan fried beef and cabbage bun, and of course the beef dumpling!! And for the beef dumpling I always re-stock the frozen one for home. The dumpling is full of meat and the wrap thickness is perfect! All made from scratch, so freshness is guaranteed (I know because I frozen it at home for weeks and it is still delish). In the picture, I add my own chili oil recipe to the dumpling, and it's really good (at least for me :d) The place is inside welfresh market, in their small "foodcourt" area. Most of the menu, you wont find it in any halal chinese place in greater Houston. Pecking duck is so authentic, perfected by the soup that came with it, so love it, but better to call/ message them prior to come to make sure the duck is ready, because it sell fast!! I am a regular!

2 years agoWonderful service! The owner, super nice, explained every dish and how it's special to their region in China. We ordered the Beef Noodle Soup. The great thing about this (compared to Pho or Ramen) is the beef is big tender chunks braised in the broth. So good. Huge qty and only $10! Everything's halal We also got the pan fried dumplings, also excellent. I'm going to try their roast chicken next

2 years agoDelicious authentic Chinese food. Owner and cooks were respectful and even said “Salam”. They have a variety of options for a quick bite!
